Puddles on a driveway can be frustrating and, over time, can lead to cracks or damage. The first step is figuring out why water is pooling—poor drainage, uneven surfaces, or compacted soil underneath. If the issue is minor, regrading or adding a drainage channel can help. For asphalt driveways, filling low spots with a cold patch mix can level things out. Concrete driveways might need resurfacing or better sloping. French drains or gravel-filled trenches are great for long-term drainage fixes. Have you dealt with this problem before? What worked best for you?
